SPOTLIGHT SERIES: Women`s Film Festival
(134 mins, G)
Our Women’s Film Festival celebrates voices from women, stories about women, and experiences that resonate with everyone.

Through bold storytelling and diverse perspectives, this series shines a light on the creativity, resilience, humor, and complexity of women’s lives across cultures and generations.

These films invite connection, spark conversation, and remind us that when women’s voices are centered, the stories told have the power to move us all. This series is proudly supported by the Florida Council on the Arts, and all ticket proceeds will benefit the National Organization for Women (NOW), supporting their ongoing work to advance equality and advocate for women’s rights. Directed by and starring Barbra Streisand, Yentl tells the story of a young Jewish woman in early 20th-century Eastern Europe who disguises herself as a man in order to pursue an education forbidden to women.

As she navigates love, identity, and faith, Yentl’s journey becomes a powerful exploration of self-determination and the courage to challenge tradition.
