CODE OF CONDUCT

Embracing our One Human Family

Tropic Cinema embraces Key West’s city motto of One Human Family, the belief that all other people are our equal during our short lives here on Earth and that there is no “them”, there is just “us”, all of us, together as ONE HUMAN FAMILY.

Tropic Cinema endeavors to improve the lives of our audience and strengthen our communities through fairness, honesty, respect, integrity and equity in the community we live in and serve, thereby fostering the success of the institution.

Tropic Cinema is committed to providing a safe, healthy, socially responsible, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy movies and special events, including adherence to our COVID-19 protocols and protections — social distancing, contact tracing, sanitization, and the wearing of masks.

Tropic Cinema’s Code of Conduct and applies to everyone at the venue, at off-site events and participants in our social media channels. Staff, volunteers, members, donors, patrons, guests, vendors, press – anyone in our community – will be held to the same standard.

We will not tolerate harassment discrimination, sexism, and threatening or disrespectful or behavior of any kind and reserve the right to remove or ban any person who does not adhere to the Code of Conduct.

If you feel unsafe in your immediate situation, move to a safe location, alert our staff and call 911.
