TROPIC CINEMA IS OPEN!

And Don't Worry: Marilyn is Fine!

Dear Tropic Cinema Patrons —

Because so many of you have been asking we wanted to let you know that Marilyn is doing just fine, as is Tropic Cinema. We are pleased to welcome you back this week; through Thursday the 28th we will be running at a reduced capacity. (See our Facebook page or the Weekly Calendar for the most recent schedule updates.)

Our community has been through a lot. We hope that all of you came through this storm unscathed but recognize that virtually everyone who lives in the Keys has been affected in some way. We know that some of you unfortunately have been hit hard. We want to do what we can to offer some respite.  From Friday the 22nd through Thursday the 28th it will be Hurricane Relief Week at the Tropic. All screenings of all films will be $8 per ticket.  Cans of soda and bottles of water will be $1 each. Small bags of popcorn will also be $1.

We hope that you can join us for a couple of hours of down time amidst the clean-up. We are eager to see all of our friends back at the movies.

Warmest regards,
Paul Melroy
Executive Director
